Come enjoy a weekend of relaxation, crafting and fellowship with other women of St Paul. We will leave church approximately 6 p.m. on Friday April 20th and return mid afternoon on Sunday the 22nd.
Cost for the weekend is $85.00. Please make checks payable to St Paul and have your reservation in to the church office by Sunday, April 11th. Reservation forms can be found in the Narthex and Grosse Memorial Hall.

Mark your calendar for the 2012 St Paul Totally Rad Resale (formerly known as the Rummage Sale). The sale will take place Friday, May 11th and Saturday May 12th. It’s time to start gathering your donations for the sale. We ask that all donations be clean, and in good working condition. We will also be in need of brown paper grocery bags, plastic grocery bags, newspapers and hangers. If you would like further information or would like to sign up to help, please contact Karen Wagner through the church office. Each year Spring of Life partnership churches campaign for their
respective contribution to start new homes or rehab existing
homes annually. Rehabbing is the dominant activity recently
during the ongoing housing recession. For St. Paul, we
traditionally display a two-dimensional Church and members
can voluntarily dedicate a part of the structure in the name of
the family, loved one, whatever. This year, the structural posts
of GMH will be decorated with bricks, windows, instead of
two-dimensional house used in the past years standing for
2 – 3 months. The St. Paul donations also support the efforts
of St Paul and other volunteers each Wednesday and Saturday.
Bricks = $15, Windows = $40, Doors = $75. We plan to kick off
“St. Paul’s Build the House” on April 8th and will be selling
house “parts” each Sunday during April. Please consider
purchasing a brick, window or door for our St. Paul Habitat
for Humanity house.

Again this year, the team will be purchasing items to assemble health kits to give people who live at the city dump in Granada, Nicaragua. These people lack so many simple necessities to live a healthy life that we are so blessed to have immediately at our disposal.  Envelopes are on the palm tree in GMH for a monetary donation for supplies that will be purchased in Managua, Nicaragua.  Envelopes should be given to a team member.

St. Paul has reserved 20 spots in a packing event on Saturday March 3rd at the FMSC location in Schaumburg.  Please contact the church office for more information or to register for a spot.  There is a sign up sheet in Grosse Memorial Hall.

24 Hours That Changed the World

Over the course of seven sessions, we will retrace the last 24 hours of Jesus’ life.  Beginning with the Last Supper, we will follow Jesus through the Garden of Gethsemane, to his arrest, trial, and crucifixion.  Based on the book written by United Methodist Pastor Adam Hamilton, this study will guide us  to view those events from the perspectives of the people who were there.  This study will be led by Pastor Mercer and will be held on Tuesdays in the FOCUS room.  Participants have a choice of attending either the morning or evening session.  Please RSVP to the church office via phone or email demercer@comcast.net
