Again this year, the team will be purchasing items to assemble health kits to give people who live at the city dump in Granada, Nicaragua. These people lack so many simple necessities to live a healthy life that we are so blessed to have immediately at our disposal.  Envelopes are on the palm tree in GMH for a monetary donation for supplies that will be purchased in Managua, Nicaragua.  Envelopes should be given to a team member.

St. Paul has reserved 20 spots in a packing event on Saturday March 3rd at the FMSC location in Schaumburg.  Please contact the church office for more information or to register for a spot.  There is a sign up sheet in Grosse Memorial Hall.

Through the giving of the congregation…we were able to provide Palatine Food Pantry:  30 large bottles of juice and 186 juice boxes/pouches.

24 Hours That Changed the World

Over the course of seven sessions, we will retrace the last 24 hours of Jesus’ life.  Beginning with the Last Supper, we will follow Jesus through the Garden of Gethsemane, to his arrest, trial, and crucifixion.  Based on the book written by United Methodist Pastor Adam Hamilton, this study will guide us  to view those events from the perspectives of the people who were there.  This study will be led by Pastor Mercer and will be held on Tuesdays in the FOCUS room.  Participants have a choice of attending either the morning or evening session.  Please RSVP to the church office via phone or email demercer@comcast.net

The dates of the sessions are:

February 21, 28, March 6, 13, 20, 27, and April 3

Morning session runs 10am til 11am

Evening session runs 7 pm til 8pm

Friday January 20 is cancelled.

All members are encouraged to attend

January 22nd

Please join in some fun by entering a friendly competition of chili and / or desserts to be held on Sunday, January 22, 2012 immediately following the church service in GMH.  A sign up will be posted in GMH so that you are able to enter the contest.  There are limits to the number of entrants so please sign up soon.

No prior registration or fees are required, just a desire to meet other moms and enjoy the little ones.
