Arts Committee members help decorate the church for Advent and Christmas by arranging the east entrance Nativity scene.   Members also assists us in decorating the sanctuary with a large Christmas tree and additional decorations hallmarking the joyous season.

In spring, Easter wreaths are hung and other décor displayed.  The altar Easter banner, our “Jesus” banner, was an Arts Committee project from 2005. The design was adapted from a church bulletin, drawn and painted on canvas, with Jesus’ robe stitched and padded for effect.  When Easter wreaths are moved back into the attic, out come spring/summer arrangements for sanctuary windowsills.  And in autumn, window displays are transformed into fall creations.

While our committee membership changes through the years, our goal of beautifying our church sanctuary does not.
